Lincoln National Corporation’s Board of Directors Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend & Announces Plans to Resume Share Repurchases in the Third Quarter of 2026

Lincoln Financial (NYSE: LNC) announced today that the board of directors of Lincoln National Corporation declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.45 per share on the company’s common stock. The dividend on the common stock will be payable November 2, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 12, 2026.

The company also announced that it intends to resume repurchasing shares of its common stock this quarter. Any repurchases will be made pursuant to the company’s existing $1.5 billion securities repurchase authorization approved by the company’s Board of Directors in November 2021, approximately $714 million of which remains available.

The repurchase authorization does not have an expiration date. The amount and timing of share repurchases depends on key capital ratios, rating agency expectations, the generation of free cash flow and an evaluation of the costs and benefits associated with alternative uses of capital. Stock repurchases may be effected from time to time through open market purchases or in privately negotiated transactions and may be made pursuant to an accelerated share repurchase agreement or plans designed to comply with Rule 10b5-1(c) under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. The purchase program may be suspended, modified or terminated at any time.
