For the third consecutive year, The Athletic is looking at the top tier of NHL players, examining which of them could someday be enshrined in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. It’s a fun, illuminating project — one that provides both material for debate and, we hope, information on what it takes for players to get in.Along with doing our own research, we talked to coworkers and other hockey experts to make this list as complete as possible.
