Goldman Sachs, one of America's most powerful and influential investment banks, has shown significant support for Aliko Dangote, Africa’s wealthiest individual, by sending a high-level delegation to visit his massive industrial projects in Lagos, Nigeria.
The bank's team, led by Anthony Gutman, the Co-Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs International, spent time touring the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, the fertilizer plant, and the supporting infrastructure that makes up this giant industrial complex.
This visit is a major signal to the global financial world that Africa’s industrial sector is growing at an incredible scale. Currently, the Dangote Refinery is the largest single-train refinery in the world.
Achieving extraordinary goals
The visiting executives from Goldman Sachs were highly impressed by the scale and quality of the projects they witnessed.
