If there was any doubt remaining that the vibes aren’t good at KPMG ahead of a parliamentary committee hearing into the audit misconduct scandal engulfing the firm, proof arrived in Labor senator Deborah O’Neill’s inbox on Saturday morning.It came in the form of a grovelling apology from KPMG’s chair-designate, Michael Ebeid, for an email he sent KPMG deputy chair Carmel Mortell in March.
