(Seongbuk Global Villege Center) Seoul’s Seongbuk Global Village Center is offering a Korean language program for foreign residents using popular Korean dramas to teach practical Korean and introduce workplace and social culture.The three-session program will feature scenes and conversations from "Misaeng," "Stove League" and "The Dream Life of Mr. Kim," with each class focusing on a different aspect of Korean work and social life.All sessions will be conducted in Korean.The first session will be held Friday, followed by sessions on Aug. 21 and 28. All classes will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the center in Seongbuk-gu, northern Seoul.Participants can choose which session they want to attend. Each session requires at least five participants to open.The first session will use "Misaeng" to introduce Korean workplace culture as depicted in the drama. The second, based on "Stove League," will focus on business communication and presentation skills. The final session will use "The Dream Life of Mr. Kim" to explore social life and economic culture in Korea.The program is free and open to foreign residents living in Seoul, regardless of visa status.Applications can be submitted through a Google Form. Participants will receive attendance information by email during the week of their selected class.
