The federal government recently approved new carbon credit rules that could deliver one of the biggest wins for forest conservation in decades, while also supporting a viable transition for forest workers and generating high-integrity carbon credits.The new rules allow some state governments to earn carbon credits – ACCUs – if they stop logging our public native forests.
