Jessie Cave has revealed she has already made more money on OnlyFans than she did in her nearly two-decade career as an actress, which includes several "Harry Potter" movies.Cave, best known for her role of Lavender Brown in the "Harry Potter" film franchise, shared in an interview with The Times published on Aug. 7 that she earned £15,000, or roughly $20,000, in a day after she launched an account on OnlyFans in 2025."I've earned more, easily, than my entire acting career within one year," she told the outlet.Cave, 39, announced in March 2025 that she had made an account on OnlyFans, a platform that allows users to subscribe to individuals for content that is typically adult in nature. But Cave specified her OnlyFans would not be for sexually explicit content and would instead be focused on videos of her brushing and showing off her long hair.At the time, Cave, who has also acted in shows such as "Call the Midwife" and "Black Mirror" and movies including "Great Expectations," wrote on Substack that she had a "sense of shame" about joining OnlyFans. She said doing so was "proof of my failure to make (or rather, keep hold of) money as an actress and writer," adding that she had "nothing to show for 18 years of work in the arts industry."Speaking to The Times, Cave shared she joined OnlyFans after having "a breakdown" and reaching a "point of complete desperation" in her acting career after being rejected for another role. But while she expected that signing up for the platform would be a temporary solution that would allow her to make a few thousand dollars, it has "genuinely saved our lives," she said.Cave has four children, whom she shares with fiancé Alfie Brown. But Cave added that she feels she has "barely any time" left to make money with OnlyFans because she's "not going naked" on her page. "I don't know how long I can last if I don’t start giving more," she told The Times. "The bottom line is I can't afford to stop and I do enjoy a lot of it. There's a lot that I don't enjoy, too."Cave first appeared as Lavender in "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" and reprised the role in both "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1" and "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2."The actress' update comes after she revealed in September that having an OnlyFans had resulted in her not getting booked for a "Harry Potter" fan convention. In a Substack post at the time, she said the convention "explained it was because it's a 'family show and OnlyFans is affiliated with porn.' ""This was baffling to me, as some actors who do conventions (most actors, actually) have done TV and films in which they’ve done sex scenes and nudity," she wrote. "I'm just playing with my hair!"Contributing: Charles Trepany and Pamela Avila
