Love Island winner Lorenzo has made a big gesture to show his affection for Julia Majchrzak after she previously said he 'embarrassed' her after leaving the villa16:53, 09 Aug 2026Updated 16:53, 09 Aug 2026Love Island star Lorenzo Alessi has made a bold gesture after Julia Majchrzak said he 'embarrassed' her by liking photos of models when they left the villa.‌Since winning the show together, some fans thought Lorenzo and Julia might have broken up, as he was liking the pictures of female models but hadn't liked any of Julia's Instagram photos. While Lorenzo, 28, said it was simply because her photos hadn't ended up on his feed yet, Julia, 26, slammed his behaviour.‌When asked about Lorenzo's social media 'like-spree' in a car crash radio issue, Julia said: "Guys, this is not funny. He's already embarrassed me online... He had no time to arrange a date in five days, but was sat in bed liking other girls' Instagram pictures. Did you even have time to like my photos? Guess what, guys, he’s not under my Instagram!”‌But, Lorenzo has now liked a photo of Julia. In the picture, she's wearing a jaw-dropping black lace dress wit a corset underneath. Referencing his prior excuse, he also commented: "All over my feed." He also liked other posts and commented underneath: "Liked by Lorenzo."Not all fans were impressed with Lorenzo's gesture. One wrote: "Seriously?" while another said he was "so late" with his actions. A third said: “I understand you need time to figure it all out, and I genuinely hope you learn to love and treat her better as time goes on.”‌Lorenzo previously admitted that he had messed up and was still "learning what is acceptable". But, the winner, who has been called the 'King of Situationships' by some fans, also reminded people that he and Julia were still early on in their relationship.‌He said: "This is the thing. I feel like why I didn't want to rush things in the villa... We're not running around getting married tomorrow. I'm learning how to be in a committed relationship, and I'm learning what is acceptable and what is not."To be 100% honest, it was pure naivety. I did not think it would be picked up by the press... These are now real-world things that we can experience together."This came only a day after Julia confronted Lorenzo live on TV. When This Morning host Josie Gibson asked the couple if they had said they loved each other yet, they both answered "no". Lorenzo added: “It's going that way. The feelings are developing, everything is in the right position, everything is moving in the right direction…so I feel like give it some time.”Article continues belowWhen asked if she felt the same way, Julia turned to her partner and asked him why they hadn't been on a date: “Well, where’s the date? Where’s the date Lorenzo?”He immediately answered: "The date is coming. I've been busy."
