The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested a 26-year-old suspected cult member, Sunday Samuel, and recovered a locally made gun from him in Efon Alaaye, Efon Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect was arrested at about 11:45 pm on August 7 following credible intelligence received by police operatives at the Efon Division regarding his presence in the town.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Ekiti State Command, Sunday Abutu, disclosed this in a statement made available in Ado Ekiti on Sunday.
Abutu said, “Upon receipt of the information, operatives immediately commenced investigation. The investigation led to the suspect’s arrest.
