The two-day 16th edition of the mega placement drive Alva’s Pragati 2026 organised by Alva’s Education Foundation saw 285 companies select 2,394 candidates and shortlist 5,935 for further rounds of recruitment when it concluded on Saturday (August 8, 2026) in Moodbidri.Also read | Khader to inaugurate Alva’s mega job fair on Friday, says chairman of Alva’s Education FoundationA total of 332 companies participated in the recruitment drive. The event drew 15,539, including 2,523 on Day 2.Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd., an EV charging solutions company, hired 35 women engineers for its Hyderabad plant, compared to 22 engineers recruited last year. The company supplies EV charging solutions to major car manufacturers and has around 950 employees across nine States. It offers salaries ranging from ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh per annum (LPA), along with free food and transport. It plans to increase the women workforce to 90%, said a release, quoting company CHRO Pooja Duggal.Codeyoung, an online education and coding platform, selected 4 candidates with ₹8.36 LPA. EXL, a global data analytics, AI and digital solutions company, selected 38 candidates for executive positions with ₹3 LPA package. HL Mando selected 99 engineering candidates for positions in Chennai, with ₹3.4 LPA package. ANZ shortlisted 84 candidates with ₹3 to ₹4 LPA package.
