Over the past 24 hours, on August 8, 231 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were reported on the front lines.
According to Ukrinform, this information is included in a Facebook post by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the situation as of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 9.
The enemy launched one missile strike using seven missiles and carried out 75 airstrikes, dropping 269 guided bombs.
In addition, Russian invaders deployed 10,284 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,137 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions.
Artillery shelling targeted Korenok, Bachivsk, Sopych, Tovstodubove, Atynske, Bezsalivka, Ryzhivka, Potapivka, and Ulanove in the Sumy region; as well as Naberezhne and Yanzhulivka in the Chernihiv region.
