The Space Visions Symposium exists to explore the technologies, tools, techniques and fundamental requirements for the permanent, routine occupation of space by large numbers of people as a normal extension of life on Earth.
The symposium concentrates on the future, looking some ten to fifty years ahead to a time when use of space in the inner solar system is routine. Current methods and models do not necessarily support such an endeavour.
Each year this symposium sets a theme that attempts to address some portion of the perceived problems. We invite papers from people interested in any of the themes.
