A person with direct knowledge of the league office's process, speaking to USA Today on condition of anonymity, confirmed the technical was rescinded. I’ve already watched it on the tape. So, we’ll let the league decide, but it wasn’t intentional or anything. Fever head coach Stephanie White picked up a technical of her own arguing the call, and officials reportedly told her Clark had intentionally sought out the referee and made forearm contact. White disagreed. "That's a bad call," she said, describing the contact as incidental given Clark was fighting to stay in bounds. " Incidental contact when you’re flying out of control. I thought her teammates should have come up and talked to her about that as well. I think that’s really bad. That s**t happens all the time in the game. You know, officials have to have some awareness in those moments, and it didn’t happen.”Had the suspension stood, Clark would have missed Tuesday's matchup with New York. Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 27 points, Aliyah Boston recorded a double-double with two blocks, and the Fever outscored Chicago 46-0 in paint points as a team.Indiana improved to 20-12 and now turns to New York, sitting at 19-13, for Tuesday's game in Indianapolis. With her technical wiped clean, Clark will be on the floor as the Fever look to extend their winning streak against a Liberty team that's chasing them in the standings.
