…As CEDEP moves to upskill non-profit practitioners in Abia

Nonprofit organisations have been advised to cultivate a robust and symbiotic relationship with government at local, state and national levels to serve the people better.

Anyanwu Obialor, Mayor of Aba South Local Government Area of Abia State, gave the advice at a nonprofit breakfast dialogue organised by the Centre for Development Practice (CEDEP), based in the United States of America.

Obialor, in an interview with BusinessDay on the sidelines of the meeting, noted that government alone cannot solve the problems of the people without the support of all stakeholders, including non-profit organisations.

According to him, “No one arm can solve the problems of the society. We need collaboration.”
