Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary, Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr, outlined Tehran's conditions on Saturday for reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran's Terms The Iranian official demanded the U.S. end its naval blockade, lift sanctions, pay war reparations, withdraw troops from Iran and halt attacks on Tehran's allies.
"The Supreme National Security Council will never give up, whether in war or in negotiations," he said, according to state media.
The demands come as Iran and Oman continue mediating talks.
Earlier on Saturday, in an interview with Fox News, Vice President JD Vance expressed a positive view of the state of negotiations between Oman and Iran.
