The Challenge: Flying Blind in Production

Before this summer, our analytics platform, InsightTrack, had a fundamental flaw in how it handled observability. We were tracking standard JavaScript errors via a basic window.onerror handler, but it was just noise. We had no stack traces, no grouped fingerprints, and absolutely no release context.

If a customer integrated 10 different sites into our platform, we couldn't accurately tell them if a specific spike in errors was a brand-new issue or a resurrected bug from three deployments ago. We were flying blind, and our users were feeling the pain of delayed bug resolutions.
