The African Democratic Congress (ADC), has dismissed the interim report of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on the alleged fake Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), describing it as “predictable” and accusing the federal government of seeking to contain the scandal rather than uncover its full scope.
Bolaji Abdullahi, National Publicity Secretary of the ADC in a statement on Saturday said the report failed to answer critical questions about how the alleged fictitious agency secured government office space, civil servants, official vehicles, security personnel and a N1.3billion provision in the 2026 Appropriation Act.
The controversy over the alleged fake agency emerged after questions were raised about the activities of an organisation that presented itself as a government-backed agency.

The development prompted President Bola Tinubu to direct the ICPC on July 7 to investigate the matter and submit its findings within 30 days.
