The drone that crashed and exploded in Bulgaria on the morning of August 8 was most likely a Maya decoy drone, which is widely used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was stated by Bulgaria's Ministry of Defence, according to Ukrinform, citing The Sofia Globe.
The Bulgarian Defence Ministry told local media about the results of an "initial analysis" of the remains of the drone that exploded in the country earlier on Saturday.
According to the ministry, the drone was "most likely" a Maya decoy drone widely used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"At the moment, there is no reason to believe that the incident was intentional," Bulgaria's Defence Ministry said.
