Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Donnie Wahlberg has confirmed that his Blue Bloods co-star Will Estes will reprise his role of Jamie Reagan in Season 2 of the show's spin-off, Boston Blue.
"Welcome (back) to the Family. Jamie Reagan! aka Will Estes!" Wahlberg wrote on his Instagram Story Friday, alongside a photo of him and Estes on the show's set.
The second season of the series is to premiere on CBS Oct. 9.
Its stars Wahlberg as former New York Police Detective Danny Reagan and Sonequa Martin-Green as his new partner, Boston Police Detective Lena Silver.
