LB Nagar police, who had deployed bandobast anticipating a large turnout, used mild force to control the crowd and prevent stampede-like situation.The situation was brought under control after repeated announcements over loudspeakers assured the aspirants that all applications would be accepted and everyone would get an opportunity to undergo physical tests.HYDRAA had announced through the media that the recruitment process would be held at Saroornagar Stadium on August 8 and 9. The large turnout led to some initial confusion, with officials also facing difficulties in processing applications.Police and HYDRAA personnel subsequently managed the crowd and the selection process continued without further disruption.
