Police are asking anyone who travelled on Highway 404 near Finch Avenue around 6 a.m. Saturday to check their vehicles for damage.
Highway 404 southbound in North York has been closed down by the OPP after a pedestrian was hit by a transport truck, and possibly hit by other vehicles as well.
The OPP posted about the highway closure around 6:15 a.m. Saturday, after emergency crews received reports that a pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a transport truck.
Members of the Toronto OPP responded to the collision on Highway 401 and 412 shortly after 4 a.m. on Sunday.
