Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić wished Ukraine to open and close all negotiating clusters on its path to EU membership as soon as possible and assured Ukraine of Serbia’s support.

Vučić said this at a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Belgrade, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

The Serbian president said that he had discussed Serbia’s and Ukraine’s European paths with President Zelensky and assured Ukraine of Serbia’s support in this process.

Vučić said that Serbia did not comment on whether other countries were making progress or facing delays on their European path, as Serbia itself had not yet been able to open any negotiating clusters. He added that Serbia wished Ukraine to open and close all negotiating clusters as soon as possible, as this reflected the wishes of the Ukrainian people and the Ukrainian leadership.
