Business school Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, on Saturday held the graduation of its class of 2026, which included 707 graduates across management programmes, including the (PGPM)Post Graduate Program in Management and Post Graduate eXecutive Program in Management (PGXPM).The students received their degrees at the 22nd Convocation Ceremony at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai.The ceremony saw the presence of V. Narayanan, Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation(ISRO), Secretary, Department of Space, Government of India.Addressing the graduating class, Narayanan said that the Indian space programme has evolved from depending on rockets and satellites from other countries to having launched 434 foreign satellites from 36 countries on a commercial basis using Indian rockets.He highlighted the evolution of India’s space programme as a powerful example of what can be achieved through perseverance and indigenous capability.“It requires people who can work as a team, trust one another and remain focused on a shared purpose. “ISRO succeeds because of the team,” he said.“Leadership is reflected in the responsibility we take for the people and institutions we lead and in the value we create for society.
