IN STARK contrast to their counterparts at the recently-concluded 23rd Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, Team TTO’s netballers towered above the competition to claim gold last night as the XXV Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games continued in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.Samantha Wallace-Joseph spearheaded the Calypso Girls’ victory, bagging 41 goals from 44 attempts while Khalifa McCollin was a perfect 15-for-15 as they defeated Caribbean arch-rivals, Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls 56-49 at the Ciudad Juan Bosch Sports Complex.
