Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, an unofficial adviser to the President of Ukraine, has warned that Ukrainian businesses are receiving anonymous letters from individuals claiming to be the "owners of Shahed drones," demanding payment in exchange for protection from drone attacks.
According to Ukrinform, Beskrestnov shared the warning on Facebook.
"Businesses have begun receiving anonymous letters from the so-called 'owners of Shaheds' offering to spare their facilities from Shahed drone attacks in return for payment," he wrote.
At the same time, Beskrestnov expressed hope that "everyone will have enough common sense not to believe this nonsense."
