(BVC: ECOPETROL; NYSE: EC) (the "Company" or "Ecopetrol") announces that, in connection with the merger by absorption between Ecopetrol S.A., as the surviving company, and Parque Solar Portón del Sol S.A.S., as the absorbed company (the "Merger"), approved by Ecopetrol's General Shareholders' Meeting on March 27, 2026, the Company is convening the holders of its local bonds to consider the Merger through General Bondholders' Meetings, in compliance with the regulations applicable to securities issuers, particularly Article 6.4.1.1.42 of Decree 2555 of 2010.
