In most settlements of the Kyiv region, air quality indicators remain within acceptable limits; however, elevated levels of fine particulate matter have been recorded in the towns of Vyshhorod, Boiarka, Vasylkiv, Obukhiv, and Brovary, as well as in the villages of Ivankiv and Velyka Dymerka.
According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported this on Facebook.
In most settlements in the Kyiv region, levels of chemical and biological substances in the air have not exceeded permissible limits. The average daily observation results from monitoring stations confirm this.
"At the same time, air quality has temporarily deteriorated in the towns of Vyshhorod, Boiarka, Vasylkiv, Obukhiv, and Brovary, as well as in the villages of Ivankiv and Velyka Dymerka. Elevated concentrations of fine particulate matter have been recorded there, which may cause breathing discomfort in the elderly, people sensitive to irritants, and children,” the statement reads.
Until the situation improves, experts recommend keeping windows closed, limiting prolonged exposure to the outdoors, drinking plenty of water, and, if you have an air purifier, using it at maximum capacity.
