Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) is betting on FSD as one of its new growth items going forward as the company pushes more into autonomous driving and AI.

Users of FSD should likely be aware that if they ever get pulled over for speeding, the ticket remains their responsibility and not that of the EV company.

Tesla Driver Uses FSD, Gets Speeding Ticket Tesla reported 1.48 million FSD subscribers in the second quarter, up 56% year-over-year.

Those customers pay $99 per month for the software that allows them hands-free supervised driving.

While Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that FSD usage may allow vehicle users to text and drive, FSD is still a Level 2 driver-assistance system, which requires constant supervision from a human.
