The Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Authority (OYRLEA) has reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing state laws after impounding two cows found grazing openly on a road and investigating a petition over alleged noise pollution from a block moulding factory in Ibadan.
The authority disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday, saying both enforcement actions were carried out on Wednesday, August 6.
According to the statement signed by OYRLEA Chairperson, Justice Aderonke A. Aderemi (Rtd.), the agency’s enforcement team responded to a distress call and mobilised to Kudeti Avenue, Agbarigo Junction, where two cows were found grazing openly on the road and obstructing traffic.
