Server manufacturer Wiwynn Corp (緯穎科技) yesterday reported 23.5 percent annual growth in net profit for last quarter, attributable to accelerating demand for artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure deployment from cloud service providers.Net profit expanded to NT$14.97 billion (US$463.64) in the quarter ended June 30, compared with NT$12.12 billion in the same period last year, Wiwynn said in a statement.Gross margin improved to 9.3 percent last quarter from 8.58 percent in the second quarter last year due to a major change in its business model.
