Israel’s Ambassador to Greece, Noam Katz, whose four-year posting ends on Friday, said he will remain committed to supporting relations between the two countries after returning to Israel and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Returning to Israel and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I will continue to support and strengthen the special bond between Israel and Greece,” Katz said in a statement marking the end of his tenure.
The Israeli diplomat also expressed gratitude for his time in Greece, describing the past four years as “truly amazing.”
“I am leaving with my heart full of gratitude. These four years have been truly amazing, and I want to thank Greece and the Greek people for becoming such an important part of my journey and story,” he said, adding that he was taking with him “countless friendships, unforgettable memories, and a deep love for this unique country.”
