A Ukrainian Air Force Su-27 fighter pilot has destroyed a Russian artillery position with a precision strike after it had been shelling Ukrainian Defense Forces on the Zaporizhzhia front.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the operation on Facebook.
"A Su-27 fighter pilot carried out a precision strike that destroyed an enemy artillery position which had been firing on Ukraine's Defense Forces for an extended period in the Zaporizhzhia sector," the statement said.
The strike was carried out using GBU-39 precision-guided aerial bombs.
As a result of the attack, Russian artillery guns used to shell Ukrainian positions were destroyed.
