Ireland’s Áine Donegan has followed up her strong start at the PIF London Championship with an even better second round to tie for the clubhouse lead at Centurion Club on the Ladies European Tour.The Lahinch golfer made seven birdies in her four-under-par round of 69, making it 13 birdies for the week so far, to reach seven-under at the top of the leaderboard, alongside Australia’s Kelsey Bennett, who shot a 71 in round two.Donegan got particularly hot early in the round with birdies at the third, fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth holes.The 24-year-old has a best finish of tied-16th in the Ford New South Wales Open so far in her maiden season on the LET, where she is currently 86th on the order of merit. With a $2 million prize fund this week in London, a high finish would represent a career breakthrough.
