FIFA: Norway’s football federation calls for Gianni Infantino’s immediate resignation
Norway’s Football Federation (NFF) has become the first national association to openly call for Gianni Infantino to resign as FIFA president, intensifying the growing backlash over his abandoned plan to sell minority stakes in the commercial rights of the FIFA World Cup.
The demand comes as the Swiss football executive faces mounting opposition from several European football associations following the collapse of the controversial FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) proposal.
