Indonesian telecoms operator Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison has paired with the wider Ooredoo Group, Nokia, and Nvidia to launch Zankore by Indosat as it aims to deploy up to 1GW of AI data center capacity.
The carrier has been vocal about its ambitions around building infrastructure to support the demands of AI workloads in the past, with a particular focus on positioning Indonesia as a key AI hub.

Indosat notes that Zankore "lays the foundation for one of the region’s largest AI infrastructure platforms, which will enable the next phase of agentic and enterprise AI adoption at scale."
The project will see Indosat eventually deploy 1GW of Nvidia DSX infrastructure capacity.
