Papa Johns suspended its quarterly dividend and cut its full-year outlook on Thursday after North America comparable sales fell 8.3% in the second quarter, extending a streak of domestic weakness at the pizza chain.
The company's board voted to eliminate the dividend beginning with the third quarter of 2026, redirecting that capital toward its ongoing transformation effort. The moves include franchise incentives tied to operational improvements, new customer acquisition, technology upgrades such as a new point-of-sale system, and supply chain work, the company said.
