The Commissioner of Police in Kwara State, Ojo Adekimi, has commissioned the renovated ‘C’ Division Police Station in Oja-Oba, Ilorin, urging officers attached to the division to demonstrate greater professionalism and improved service delivery in line with the enhanced working environment.

The state Police Command disclosed this in a statement issued on Thursday by its spokesperson, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, saying the renovation was carried out to provide a more functional and conducive environment for effective policing.

The command said the event was attended by the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, who was represented by the Balogun Alanamu of Ilorin, Prof. Usman Abubakar, alongside senior police officers, traditional rulers, community leaders and other stakeholders.

Speaking during the inauguration, Adekimi described the project as evidence of the impact of collaboration between the police and members of the public in improving security infrastructure.
