CJP's Abhijeet Dipke welcomes RSS Chief's remarks on 'Gen Z'; urges BJP to stop "anti-national" labelingCHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Friday welcomed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's remarks defending Gen Z protesters and urged him to ensure that the BJP leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stops branding agitating students as "anti-nationals."Speaking to news agency ANI, Dipke said Bhagwat's statement that young people have the right to protest over genuine issues was an important message. "I completely agree with this. Students should not be labelled anti-nationals for raising legitimate concerns," he said.Referring to Bhagwat as a mentor to the BJP, Dipke appealed to him to convey the same message to the party's leaders. "He should tell BJP leaders and Prime Minister Narendra Modi that they must stop calling students and youth anti-nationals," he said.Dipke also alleged that several BJP leaders had used derogatory language against protesting students in the past. Citing Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP leader Nitin Nabin, he claimed they had referred to students as the "B-team of terrorists" and a "virus", respectively. He expressed hope that Bhagwat's remarks would influence the party's approach towards student protests.Backing Bhagwat's call for action against misleading content on social media, Dipke said fake videos should be thoroughly investigated. He alleged that many such videos originated from political IT cells and said an inquiry should determine which videos were genuine and which were fabricated.Dipke also reiterated his support for the ongoing student protests in Jharkhand, saying CJP workers were on the ground providing assistance to demonstrators. He said the party wanted students to lead the movement themselves rather than claim credit for the protests."We will continue to function as a pressure group because the country needs greater accountability. When citizens unite to demand accountability, they can bring about change," Dipke said. His remarks came a day after RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, during an interaction with Gen Z and Gen Alpha at Mumbai's Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), said young people have the right to protest on genuine issues and should not be branded anti-national for expressing dissent.
