The DP World ILT20 is preparing for its fifth season, with matches scheduled from November 22 to December 20.
New guidelines require every playing XI to include players from UAE, Afghanistan and an Associate nation.
UAE players such as Khuzaima Tanveer and Muhammad Rohid have used the league as a platform to advance their cricket careers.
Desert Vipers will defend their ILT20 title when the tournament begins in November.
