Order more if you need anything,” the man said as he checked whether they had enough food and even offered to order them additional makgeolli — a milky, fizzy Korean rice wine.As he made his way out, the man quietly paid the tourists' bill worth 60,000 won ($42). The restaurant owner also joined in showing their generosity by providing part of their meal free of charge.Surprised by the gesture, the women thanked the man and the restaurant owner in Korean.The man told them they reminded him of his granddaughters and that he had wanted to treat them to a meal. When they expressed their gratitude, he brushed it off, telling them not to worry.In a Thai-language caption accompanying the video, the tourist wrote that the unexpected experience had made the man happy.“When we grow old, I hope we, too, can show this kind of generosity to others,” she added.
