Several customers of a real estate company, Bliss Legacy, have accused the firm of failing to allocate plots of land they paid for, demanding refunds running into millions of naira.

One of the aggrieved customers, Anna Tuale, whose one-man protest at the company’s Obakhavbaye office in Benin, the Edo State capital, recently went viral on social media, told PUNCH Metro that she was seeking a refund of N2.35m after months of unsuccessful efforts to take possession of her land.

Tuale said she approached the company in October 2025 after hearing its advertisement on a local radio station.

According to her, the firm promised to provide the land, survey plan, agreement documents and a Certificate of Occupancy immediately after payment, assuring her that she would take possession within two weeks.
