MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Thursday said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s standing order for the arrest of Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa based on a warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) remains in effect, even as authorities continue searching for the elusive lawmaker.
Palace press officer Claire Castro issued the clarification after the interior and justice departments denied reports that Dela Rosa had been caught and was on his way to the ICC.
