Dr Sarana Boonbaichaiyapruck, chairman of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), sent a letter to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul last week seeking justice and aiming to resolve the deadlock at the regulator over his qualifications.Dr Sarana said he sent the letter to Mr Anutin because he had done nothing wrong and had followed all legal requirements, serving for four years and four months with full dedication.
The NBTC board meeting to consider agenda items was aborted yesterday, the third failed meeting in a row after four commissioners boycotted the session over the ruling on the chairman's qualifications.
The meeting requires a quorum of at least four of the seven members.
