August 7, 2026 — 8:10amA 23-year-old man has died after a suspected dog attack in Sydney’s south-west.Police were called to the rural property on Badgally Road, Eschol Park at midday on Wednesday, following reports the man’s body had been found with significant injuries by the house.About eight dogs lived on the property, none of which have been registered or microchipped, 2GB reported.Initial investigations suggest the man had been attacked by the dogs before his death.Officers from Campbelltown Council are expected to be at the property on Friday morning as inquiries continue.A report of the man’s death will be prepared for the coroner.More to comeStart the day with a summary of the day’s most important and interesting stories, analysis and insights.
