U.S. Homeland Security says Canadian to be deported after assault in New Jersey

OTTAWA - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security confirmed on social media Wednesday that a Canadian woman accused of assaulting a teenager wearing what it called “pro-Trump” gear is being deported back to Canada.

“It’s time to get Kaitlyn to her final destination — home,” the department wrote on social media, along with a screenshot of a New York Post article on the deportation order.
