Lanre Shittu Motors (LSM) has expanded its campaign against financial crime among youths by donating anti-financial crime books to public secondary schools across Lagos State.
According to LSM, the first phase of the book titled ‘Clean Hands, Bright Future: A Youth Guide to Avoiding Financial Crime in Africa’ covers 200 schools, with more than 150 schools already benefiting from the programme.
“The campaign, which commenced at Kuramo Senior College and Victoria Island Senior Secondary School, has moved to many other parts of the state and is designed to educate students on the dangers of fraud, cybercrime, identity theft, examination malpractice and other financial crimes, while promoting integrity, hard work, ethical leadership and responsible citizenship,” the company stated.
Adedayo Aluko, author of the book, said the project was inspired by the alarming rise in financial crime among young people and the need to intervene early through education.
