The All India Students’ Association (AISA), which featured prominently in the 36-day Jantar Mantar protest against NEET-UG paper leak, held a ‘victory march’ near Delhi University’s Arts Faculty on North Campus on Thursday.AISA national president Neha, who had been on a 23-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, addressed a gathering of students.The students’ outfit affiliated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation also launched a month-long ‘Gen Z Rising’ campaign under which Ms. Neha will go on a nationwide tour to several States, including Jharkhand, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana, to organise and interact with the youth.In a release, AISA stated that it aims to renew and intensify its struggle to abolish the National Testing Agency, repeal the National Education Policy 2020 and seek accessible, affordable and quality education and dignified employment for the youth.
