Chinese humanoid robot maker Unitree Robotics said on Thursday it had set the price for its initial public offering on Shanghai's STAR Market at 150.80 yuan ($21) per share, as the company moves closer to becoming one of China's first publicly listed humanoid robot firms.
The company plans to issue 40.45 million shares, representing 10 percent of its enlarged share capital after the offering, according to a filing. The IPO is expected to raise about 6.10 billion yuan in total proceeds, with net proceeds estimated at around 5.92 billion yuan.
The shares will be available for online subscription on Aug 10, with investors required to make payments on Aug 12.
Unitree said its offering carries a price-to-earnings ratio of 219.23 times, significantly higher than the average industry P/E ratio of 38.56 times, showing strong investor expectations for the growth potential of the humanoid robotics sector.
