Telecommunications group MTN South Africa plans to invest R332-million into network infrastructure across Limpopo in the 2026 financial year.
The planned investment will strengthen network capacity, expand connectivity and improve service resilience across the province.
MTN currently operates nearly 1 000 LTE-enabled sites in Limpopo, including over 100 active 5G sites, providing communities and businesses with access to reliable, high-speed connectivity.
During 2026, the company will deploy over 100 Massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output upgrades and modernise 38 network sites.

Our continued investment in Limpopo reflects MTN's commitment to ensuring that more people, businesses and public institutions can participate meaningfully in the digital economy,” said MTN South Africa deputy CEO Yolanda Cuba.
