THE Sivananda World Peace Foundation and KZN SAPS, will host "Yoga for Humanity" on Friday, August 7 at Blue Lagoon.
Bringing together 600 police officers and 80 members of the community for a day dedicated to health, wellness, unity and service.
Held under the theme "Stronger Bodies. Healthier Minds. Safer Communities" with the message "Together for a Healthier, Happier and United Society," the fitness and recreational day aims to promote physical, mental and emotional well-being while strengthening relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
Rooted in the Sivananda World Peace Foundation's guiding principles, the initiative seeks to promote physical fitness through yoga, provide stress relief and mental resilience tools for SAPS members, cultivate inner peace and compassion in public service, and build stronger partnerships between police and communities.
